This is a curated effort to preserve compositions and directory listings in service of the tabla tradition. Every record update is reviewed. We follow platform safety policy strictly: abusive, deceptive, or exploitative content is removed and can trigger access restrictions.

Practice Tools

Vocal Lehra

Sung melodic accompaniment that replaces synthesized loops with the warmth of a live player. Set tempo to match each piece. Visual sam, taali, and khaali markers keep you grounded.

How to use: Open Practice → Vocal Lehra. Choose tala, set tempo, tap Play. Adjust volume with the slider.

Lehra Classic

Traditional synthesized lehra in all major talas. Adjustable pitch, tempo, and volume.

How to use: Open Practice → Lehra Classic. Select tala and pitch. Set tempo from 60–240 bpm.

Ambient Lehra

Low-distraction mode for longer focused sessions while tracking progress and goal consistency.

How to use: Open Practice → Ambient Lehra and run long-form sessions with your preferred external or minimal playback setup.

Tayyari Challenge

Timed challenge runs with rotating card types, quick start, and share/import code support.

How to use: Open Practice → Tayyari Challenge. Start a timed run, or paste/import a challenge code to join.

Precision Tools

Tuner

Pitch detection for tabla tuning. Real-time frequency display and target pitch guidance.

How to use: Open Explore → Tuner. Play the dayan center. Watch the pitch meter and adjust until stable at target pitch.

Tap or play audio to detect tempo in real time. Useful for learning recorded compositions.

How to use: Open Explore → Tempo. Tap rhythm or play audio and review detected BPM.

Sound Check

Audio diagnostics to verify tone clarity, resonance, and balance between dayan and bayan.

How to use: Open Tools → Sound Check. Play each head. Review feedback on tone quality and balance.

Practice-first metrics for Practice Time, Streak, Sessions, and Goal Progress.

How to use: Open Insights and read the hero strip first to decide where to adjust practice this week.

Analytics Dashboard

Three tappable surfaces: Momentum, Coverage, and Friction.

Common App Issues

App won't open or crashes on launch

Update to the latest version from the App Store. Restart your device. If the issue persists, reinstall the app.

Lehra audio is out of sync or delayed

Check your device's audio settings. Disable Bluetooth audio. Try wired headphones or built-in speakers.

Can't find my session history, goals, or insights

Open Insights and review the hero plus Momentum/Coverage/Friction dashboard, then select a day in the calendar to view grouped activity. If data is missing, check sync in Settings → Data & Sync.

Tuner not detecting pitch

Play louder and closer to the device microphone. Reduce background noise. Ensure microphone permissions are enabled.

Compositions not loading

Check internet connection. Pull down to refresh. If offline, only cached compositions appear.

Subscription issues or billing questions

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions to manage or cancel.

Need data export or deletion help

For exports use Settings → Data & Sync → Export Data. For deletion use Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account. For sync issues, include device and iOS version when contacting support.

Website Issues

Map not loading on Directory page

Refresh the page. Check internet connection. Clear browser cache. Try a different browser.

Search not returning results

Check spelling. Try broader search terms. Filter by category first.

Can't find updated composition or directory records

Refresh the page, clear filters, and try again. If the issue persists, contact support.
