Structure
3+4+3+4 skeleton (tali 1,4,11; khali 8) shared with Deepchandi, but the theka is dense — bols are compressed into single matras (e.g. 'Dha Tirekite') because it is a vilambit-khyal theka whose job is to fill very slow beats with internal filigree.
Shares the 3+4+3+4 vibhaag structure with Deepchandi — same 14-matra skeleton, different theka and mood. Bols compressed into some matras (Dha Tirekite on one beat) reflect its use as a slow theka with internal filigree.
Origins
A modern vilambit-khyal (bada khyal) theka; shares its 14-matra 3+4+3+4 frame with Deepchandi but is used for grand slow khyal rather than thumri.
