Fourteen matras in 3+4+3+4 — claps on 1, 4, and 11, wave on 8, the same map as Deepchandi — but built for bada khayal at vilambit tempo. The theka is dense with Tirekite clusters ("Dhin Dha Tirekite | Dhin Dhin Dhage Tirekite..."), keeping the long beats alive under a slowly unfolding raag.
Its fill-heavy character makes it a byword for flowing, rounded accompaniment; it almost never appears fast. The comparison set is Ektaal and Tilwada — the three big slow-khayal frames, each with its own interior texture.
